Abstract

ABSTRACT: Daily new modalities of sport are created, specially the ones called “extreme sports”. Besides, it’s growing up the importance of videogame and televised sports as leisure activities. The purposes of this paper are to subsidize Physical Education with some features that may help to understand the process of creation of these new modalities, as well as contribute with some ideas of Félix Guattari and Pierre Levy, still barely not known in our area. We will emphasize the process of virtualization as the “creation of new realities” (in our case, new modalities of sport), and at the concepts of subjectification and objectification, that seems to us as quite appropriate to understand man-machine interactions.
