This text proposes that the notion of authorship be redefined in order toexplain the effects of the meanings intexts that do not belong to larger works or to discoursiveties. The elements thatled to this proposition are: "givingvoice to the other" and "keepingdistance" —two discoursive categories. The thesis is that authorship is a simultaneous effect of a stylistic gameand of an enunciative position.
