A autora evidencia a origem do Método Montessori e suas características peculiares. Enfatiza a organização das classes montessorianas dando o perfil da criança. Refere-se ao material e ao currículo da escola montessoriana e apresenta a nova dimensão que o "Constructor Sui" tem dado à educação no Brasil. Conceitua Casa-Escola e relaciona este novo ambiente com a proposta metodológica montessoriana. Apresenta os princípios que orientam uma escola montessoriana e situa a chegada do Método Montessori no Brasil salientando as dificuldades encontradas e as soluções pretendidas. Evidencia a eficiência do método para a criança e conclui que o mais "importante será pessoas quererem que outros sejam também pessoas".
