Aproximando-se da escola: algumas considerações à luz das idéias de Michel Foucault

Este artigo trata de urna tentativa de descrever e desvelar as práticas escolares cotidianas no que concerne ao exercício do poder disciplinar e suas estratégias, à luz das idéias de Michel Foucault. Descreve e discute concomitantemente o primeiro dia de aula observado pela autora em urna classe de 1ª série do 1º Grau, de urna escola de periferia urbana da rede pública municipal de Florianópolis. Através da descrição positiva das práticas, busca-se urna compreensão dos exercícios de dominação no território escolar. Conclui que essa descrição exaustiva e a compreensão das estratégias do poder disciplinar são imprescindíveis para todo aquele que perspectiva a desarticulação dos exercícios de dominação onde quer que estejam sendo efetivados.
