Childhood, Pandemic, ArgentinaAbstract
The pandemic has changed a great part of the daily lives of people around the world. In the special case of children, their education, their relationships, their entertainment and their displacements were affected by mobility limitations, closure of activities and fears about the risks of face-to-face contacts in relation to their own health and that of third parties involved. The objective of this article is to present a reflection on the daily life of childhoods in Argentina during the pandemic in relation to: remote schooling, socialization mediated by screens or face to face in open spaces (when enabled) and, finally, the relationship with the body, with perceptions and expectations regarding the return to face-to-face contacts and the implications on the body. Sedentary lifestyle, screens and body perceptions have crossed the relationship of childhood with their environment since the beginning of the pandemic. We intend to present a theoretical and reflective analysis of these dimensions.
