Images and narratives: emotive

This article is the result of an intervention at Project Enxame. The work began with the construction of symbolic maps of values using images (engravings, photographs and sketches) and the narratives evoked by them. The images are considered as emotive inscriptions. Two types of workshops were conducted: the first involved places and people that tell the story of the participants, photographed by the participants. Then, each participant selected a series of photos and, upon presenting them to the group, constructed a narrative. The images, as a dense emotive map, raised various types of emotions and built a network of group sentiments.
