The confrontation of different approaches, the critical analysis of the mainstream discourses about changes in employment and the identification of key problems and risks related with these changes are the principal aims of this article. The author appoints some negative effects of the corporate restructuration in the globalized economic context, marked by the intensive competition and domination of financial logic. The flexibility of labour market as an indispensable condition for employment creation, as well as time flexibilization as a factor of a stronger self control of time for individuals, are questioned. The vulnerabilisation of individuals is stressed as one of the implications of the actual changes in employment.Downloads
