This text deals with a survey conducted as monography, at the Federal University of Uberlândia, Pontal Campus, in which we investigated some works that have used information and communication technologies (ICT), more specifically the computer, to the development of Mathematical Modeling projects. Our intention was to verify the possible contributions that ICT had to develop modeling jobs. Highlight the qualitative research methodology selected, through reading the abstracts and keywords, some work in virtual page of the reference center of mathematical modeling in teaching (CREMM), then it can be studied in its entirety. All selected works dealing with the teaching of mathematics in basic education. Reviewed nine studies that deal with the use of mathematical modeling, computer and its possible relationships and from reading of selected works fill in a registration form for each of them. When developing the analytical exercise of these texts, by means of theoretical-methodological lens, that we adopt, it was possible to create categories that allowed us to verify that
these contributions can be perceived in two distinct modes: explicit contributions (those that the author of the work presents along with their considerations); and the implied contributions (those we have identified through a brainstorming exercise).
