A study about a mathematics teacher’s practice

This research had as objective to investigate the existing relation it enters the knowledge acquired in the initial formation, on the subject Function, and those mobilized during practical the pedagogical one for a professor of Mathematics in beginning of career. For this the sources of the Base of Knowledge for Ensino had been considered, defined for Shulman, that are related to the knowledge of the study object. The Antropológica Theory of the Didactic allowed, by means of the analysis of the Mathematical and Didactic Organizations, shape the mathematical activity developed by the professor. The main sources of data had been the protocols of comment in classroom and the used didactic book in classroom. The carried through analyses evidence, amongst other points, the presence of two influences in practical the pedagogical one of the professor: the didactic book and the practical ones lived deeply in the initial formation.Downloads
