The study of statistics is an indisputable requirement to function as a democratic citizen of this century. However, the statistic is absent despite the efforts of educational authorities to incorporate statistical notions in high school classrooms. Modifying this situation depends largely on the mathematics teachers who are in charge of teaching these notions. So this work is located within the problem of statistical training of teachers in mathematics at the high school. Based on the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic, we present the results of a researcher in which we investigated the training in statistics of mathematics teacher students, who carry out their studies in non-university tertiary institutions in Argentina. These institutions today support a large part of the supply of teacher training in Argentina. The main results indicate a reductionism in the praxeologies around statistics that they propose to study in the training of teachers in mathematics. These mathematical praxeologies focus on descriptive statistical aspects and turn out to be punctual and rigid. The tasks are closed and demand the application of a specific technique to make. Tasks related to the genres to collect and to interpret dat are absent, which are assumed to be fundamental in the statistical study.
