This paper aims to discuss the personal relationship of 6th grade students with the area of plane figures after the approach of this object of knowledge in the classroom by the teacher. That is a part of a master's research, which theoretical framework is the Anthropological Theory of Didactics, with emphasis on the notion of personal praxeology developed by Hamid Chaachoua and collaborators. To conduct this research were analyzed the students' answers to a test, elaborated by the teacher and applied at the end of the teaching process of the area, and interviews with the teacher and some students. The results point out that the division of tasks into types of tasks performed by most students does not correspond to that performed by the representative of the institution. Then there were personal praxeologies in accordance with institutional praxeology; personal praxeologies in which the type of task corresponded to the institutional one, but whose personal techniques and technologies were wrong, and personal praxeologies in which the personal task type did not correspond to the institutional task type and with the wrong personal technique and technology.
