It has been established a historical-conceptual understanding on the idea of human dignity, which is a fundament to the Constitution of 1988, and finds support in the Kantian theory of autonomy of the individual’s desire and universal morality. It was noted the importance of these fundamentals for the Brazilian constitutional law, as well as its social relevance, considering the global connectivity, a present day’s mark. It must be taken in mind that the concept of human dignity is not closed and, because of that, it suffers variations depending on the time and space in which it is inserted.Downloads
