This article accompanies the path of three fables credited to Aesop that were translated to Latin by Phaedrus and to French by La Fontaine. First, we make a brief historical course to accompany the birth of this genre in Antiquity. Then, we analyze all the chosen fables: “The fox and the grapes”, “The dog and the shadow”, “The fox and the masque” in all three languages, in order to identify possible continuities and changes that renew the persistency of this genre at different times.References
