Abstract
Neste artigo apresentamos os resultados que surgem de uma pesquisa de estudo de casos desenvolvido na Universidade de Antioquia. Indagamos pelo papel que a modelagem matemática tem na sala de aula em uma subregião de Antioquia na Colômbia. Ao observar e analisar como os professores descrevem seu próprio desempenho e suas maneiras de trabalhar as matemáticas na sala de aula acharmos o papel que tem as reflexões e o “sentido de
