Chemistry is a science that studies properties, constitution and in the transformations of materials. When teaching this Chemistry, we are faced with a conceptual organization that is generally fragmented, which can be minimized when we choose teaching based on contextual themes. We involved a group of teachers in training, in a period of curricular internship, in a teaching experience based in context. Based on the experience of two teacher in training, we developed studies based on the continuity pedagogical link-making. For this, we recorded on video the classes taught by the teacher in training and the university classes in which we analyzed the performance of each one of them. We observed that the theoretical study carried out from an experience was significant for most of those involved. With that, we argue that the first teaching experiences can have more expressive results in training when accompanied by a reflective process and theoretical studies.
