Abstract

Culture and Sport, the subject of this article, describes, through a visual hermeneutics, deep sport linking with culture, in a carnal fusion at some point in human history. This moment came from the modern era and continues today. The basis of this merger is in science and technology, the two cornerstones of the modern in every way. Everything must go by the scientific thinking and technical act. However, the hermeneutic vision required to go beyond modernity. The discovery manifested itself without much effort. There is a long, say, sports prehistory conducted by ludic imagination, the human root of humanity. The sport, term emerged in the nineteenth century, is the designation of the structure of scientific and technological manifestations of fun and play. The visual hermeneutic process acknowledged that the sport achieved a global dimension, far from the values of ludicity. Attempting to recover the meaning of Panhellenic events showed the need to build a discourse able to understand the meaning of mega sport events and all sports in all its complexity. The purpose of this task could be taken by an effective sportive speech, in such a way that happens with the other representative discourses of each science or each professional occupation.
