La influencia del tipo de juego en línea, las interacciones y los factores de riesgo para el ciberacoso en adolescentes

Este estudio investigó el uso de Internet, las preferencias por juegos electrónicos y la participación en ciberacoso entre adolescentes, considerando las diferencias de sexo. Los datos se recopilaron de 37 estudiantes de tercer año de secundaria de una escuela pública en Minas Gerais, Brasil. Los temas principales incluyeron tiempo en línea, estilo de juego, interacciones virtuales y experiencias con ciberacoso. Los resultados mostraron que el 91,9 % no había sido víctima, aunque el 59,5 % había presenciado estas situaciones. Las chicas reportaron menor victimización directa y mayor impacto emocional. Ambos sexos reconocieron comportamientos agresivos en línea, como lenguaje ofensivo y exclusión intencional. Las causas más citadas fueron anonimato, competitividad y falta de supervisión. Las estrategias de prevención sugeridas incluyeron educación, campañas de concienciación, sanciones más severas y herramientas de moderación. Los hallazgos destacan la importancia de políticas e intervenciones psicosociales dirigidas a reducir el ciberacoso entre los jóvenes.
