The article results from research whose focus was on the relationship between the migratory processes of individuals originating in the states of the Northeast region of Brazil and the impacts generated in their school lives. Most of these migrants were especially looking for work opportunities, almost always in exchange for their subsistence, moving towards new spaces of sociability, taking with them their cultural traits and their identity that would be confronted wherever they arrived, as in the Triângulo Mineiro, a space for observation of this research in the period between the 1950s and the 2000s. Such a cut is related to the main migratory flows to this region that was presented as the new Eldorado Brasileiro, motivating those flows that were initially generated by the grain culture and later that of sugarcane. In the 1950s, migrants settled on the farms where, in many cases, they arrived in a condition of bondage by debt linked to their displacement. A little ahead, these rural workers would live in the cities, developing new relations in the neighborhoods, churches, commerce, health posts, and schools, overcoming resistances related to their ethnic-cultural belonging, since all those who carried the accent of the Northeast constituted a marginalized population, especially when they entered rural or urban schools, at a time when, in general, the first interdiction occurred with the denial of their accent. Thus, we seek to observe these relationships among these groups within the schools of Minas Gerais, for that, we use, especially, the interviews.
