This article aims to present the questioning of the teaching of geometry in the continuing education of mathematics teachers. To this end, workshops were held, which are divided into three stages. In this sequence, we have the first, the space for discussion and reflection, guided by some questions about the teaching of geometry. Then the moment when participants performed practical activities. And finally happens to socialization and discussions with groups, making a rescue of Geometry concepts used during the proposed activities, exploring the built learning. The research was a qualitative approach and the data collection was performed by: notes in a diary survey, questionnaires and semi-structured interview. Through research we realized that continuing education is a way to bring about change in the posture of teachers in the classroom, promoting new spaces for dialogue and socialization of new practices.
