This article is an excerpt from a Master´s research which general objective was to analyze aspects of the teaching practice of Mathematics teachers and the meanings attributed to it in the context of the Union Makes Life Program (PUFV), of the Brazilian financial institution Cooperative Credit System (Sicredi) and the Methodology of Products. This piece addresses one of the specific objectives, namely, to identify the contributions and influences of PUFV´s training and methodology in the teaching practice of Mathematics teachers. A qualitative approach was adopted, with an explanatory descriptive design, using a questionnaire and document analysis for data collection. The research participants were eight Mathematics teachers from the final years of Elementary School who work at PUFV in one of the cooperatives of Sicredi. Data analysis allowed to identify that teachers do recognize the potential of the training offered by the program in their teaching practice in Mathematics.
