Reception Studies and Audiovisual Translation provides an overview of the intersections between reception studies and audiovisual translation. The book is divided into four parts that deal in this sequence with research in reception studies, audience-oriented research methodologies, audiovisual translation modalities, and hybrid media and new types of audience. The fifteen chapters that compose the work trace a history of the developments of these studies and stimulate new research in the area, suggesting a multi and interdisciplinary approach that uses quantitative and qualitative methodologies in an integrated way.References
