Epistemological lectures: a dialogue with Mauro Betti

Abstract

This text presents an interview with Professor Dr. Mauro Betti, aiming to comprehend his assessment of the epistemic scenario in the field of Brazilian Physical Education. Therefore, the interview outlines Mauro Betti's epistemological thinking, covering: 1) his synthesis of the epistemological development of the field; 2) his evaluation of the dichotomous struggles between linguistic turn groups and groups focused on the rescue of realistic ontology; 3) his analysis of the current disposition of epistemological activity in the area; 4) his perspective on plurality; 5) the relationship of classical authors in 20th-century philosophy of science with Brazilian Physical Education.
