DOI:
https://doi.org/10.5007/%25xAbstract
The work discusses the situation of children’s attendance in Education Institutions in Cambridge, England. The paper shows some results about the research on public education policies in
Cambridge and intends to answer what does “Welcome to Cambridge” means. I chose a public school to small children in
Cambridge, comparing this field with another dedicated to five year old children: the Primary School. Questions like: are
children really welcome in Cambridge? What do the policies assure to children? How is the attendance made at institutions of small children? mobilized this paper and the continuum of this research.
