Abstract

The textual genres — with all theoretic, historic and cultural developments that caracterize their more or less typifyed achievements — constitute the starting point to specify, with a higher precision, the sintatic, semantic and pragmatic regularities of a text. They represent themost valuable reference to theapprehension: a) of linguistic-communicative regularities; b) ofstrategies to promote their adequacy andefficiency; c) of how such strategies areshown on their surface; d) about thecorrelation between textualizing operations and pragmatic aspects involved in the verbal activity. The studyof tent gemes favors the systematization and the divelopment of the user's communicative competence.
