Using bibliographic research it compares the fundamental references for the Pedagogy of Abilities with the philosophy of praxis and identifies some of its internal contradictions. The study concludes that compliance with the promises made that a worker’s broad abilities will be valued and of progress and social justice, demand the renovation of the references and the renewal of the philosophical base of this Pedagogy.
