Presidentas legislam para mulheres?

O artigo analisa se presidentas propõem mais leis favoráveis ao desenvolvimento econômico das mulheres, comparado aos presidentes, com base na legislação brasileira e chilena de 1999 a 2019. Selecionamos apenas legislações do Poder Executivo relacionadas ao desenvolvimento econômico das mulheres, incluindo medidas de transferência de renda, políticas de cuidado, ações profissionalizantes ou afirmativas. Calculamos taxas brutas e relativas da produção das legislações por ano. Comparando-se os governos de Dilma Rousseff, no Brasil, e Michelle Bachelet, no Chile, com os demais presidentes adjacentes, conclui-se que elas produziram mais do que os homens. Bachelet teve a maior taxa de legislações pró-mulheres no primeiro mandato, mas Rousseff supera Bachelet considerando o total dos dois mandatos, destacando a menor produção de Bachelet em seu segundo mandato.
