This Special Section, composed of five articles, is a small sample of the reflections that took place at the International Seminar "Fazendo Gender 13," held in Florianópolis in 2024, a commemorative edition of the event's 30th anniversary. We now seek to disseminate this with the ethical and political commitment to thinking and acting toward a different world. The common thread of the articles gathered here is emblematic of the historic Latin American feminist struggles, especially in Brazil: the persistent violence suffered by cis and trans women, girls, and gender-dissident people in their different dimensions, and the forms of resistance.
