Economia, Direitos Humanos e Igualdade de Gênero: Uma Nova Agenda?

O presente Dossiê tem como objetivo estimular o debate do importante relatório da ONU Mulheres intitulado Progress of the World’s Women 2015-2016. Transforming Economies, Realizing Rights, lançado simultaneamente em sete regiões do globo em 27 de abril de 2015. Se, por um lado, o documento reconhece que houve importantes mudanças na condição das mulheres em nível global, com ganhos educacionais significativos, incrementos na participação no mercado de trabalho e promoção a posições de liderança; em contraposição, as desigualdades de gênero nos rendimentos, no acesso à proteção social e a divisão do trabalho doméstico e de cuidado não remunerado, entre outras, permanecem elevadíssimas em todas as regiões do mundo.Downloads
