FORMAÇÃO E PREVENÇÃO DA VIOLÊNCIA AUTOPROVOCADA ENTRE FUTUROS PROFISSIONAIS DE SAÚDE Education and prevention of self-inflicted violence among future health professionals

Resumo

Trata-se de um ensaio reflexivo sobre a interface entre a promoção da saúde mental em contextos acadêmicos e a formação de profissionais de saúde para a prevenção da violência autoprovocada. Esse artigo tem como objetivo  promover reflexões sobre a integração entre a formação de profissionais de saúde e a prevenção da violência autoprovocada. A coerência entre o processo ensino-aprendizagem sobre prevenção do suicídio e as vivências institucionais como práticas educativas, contexto educacional e ações de promoção da saúde mental disponíveis,  pode promover benefícios voltados a formação para prevenção do suicídio e as ações promotoras de bem-estar. Este artigo discute e incita o desenvolvimento de diferentes possibilidades de intervenções individuais, coletivas e institucionais que podem contribuir, simultaneamente para a formação de profissionais e prevenção do suicídio em ambientes acadêmicos.

Enfermeira e Doutora em Ciências pela Escola de Enfermagem de Ribeirão Preto da Universidade de São Paulo. Pós-Doutorado pela Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Coimbra em Portugal. Professora Associada da Escola de Enfermagem de Ribeirão Preto da Universidade de São Paulo (EERP-USP). Líder do Centro de Educação em Prevenção e Posvenção do Suicídio (CEPS).
