Abstract

This study has as aim to analyze Physical Education teachers’ point of view onovercoming school everyday problems. The research was performed with teachersat Núcleo Regional de Educação of Maringá-PR, Brazil, by using a semi-openedquestionnaire. The analysis categories were taken from the 52 answered questionnaires, which are: public policies on continuous formation of teachers; collective organizationof pedagogical work; legitimacy of Physical Education; public policies on investment;participation of students and family; material resources. The guided methodologicalway of the analysis follows Paulo Neto’s indications (2002) on the necessity of goingto classics and Lessa (1999) to depurate the elements presented on the first impressionand analyze their distinctive complexes mediating with totality. The analysis permittedto consider that the contradiction between particular and general values will only beovercome through a practical previous ideation, requiring objectivity of a revolutionaryprocess. This is a concrete alternative to overcome everyday pedagogical problems.
