Abstract

Firstly, the paper presents a part of the contemporary  discussions about "social exclusion" as a new paradigm which  solidifies in our presentsociety. Next, it focuses on the same  category, from the point of view of Karl Marx's thought, arguing  that this approach can disclose the determinants of social exclusion and provide us with a more accurate net of concepts to facethis  long-lasting problem. Finally, the very argumentation form  developed aims to reveal one aspect of Philosophy of Education as  an exercise of philosophically reflected actions upon issues of the  educational praxis.
