Abstract

This text reflects on the medíation of new technologies in the processes of inclusion and exclusion of deaf alterities in schools and in society. Based on a broad discussion of the advances of
science and of technology in recent decades, and of the consetluent reconfiguration of the places of inclusion and exclusion, the article also discusses the paradígm of complexity as a possible instrument for considering the objects of the study in the ficld of deaf education.
