Development of collaborative work between a teacher of Special Education and teachers of the common class

This article aims to describe the development of a process of intervention with a teacher special education specialist and teachers of common education, aiming to promote a collaborative work among them, in a state school with full time education of the state of Paraná, with the aim of improving the process of inclusion of students with special educational needs. A specialist teacher and four teachers of the common class participated in the research. This study was conducted using the methodology of collaborative research proposed by Ibiapina (2008). Data collection was carried out in three phases: 1) survey of the training needs of participants; 2nd) intervention process and; 3rd) evaluation of the intervention process. The results obtained evidenced that the intervention process, besides establishing the partnership between the teachers in the planning and the pedagogical practice, also promoted the formation in service.
