In Discourse Analysis (DA), there is the presumption that a Discursive Formation (DF) establishes what may and must be said in a given conjuncture. This paper aims at investigating the establishment of a DF considering the “non-partisan school” linguistic formulation, present in Brazilian media nowadays, in order to analyze the literacy effects (the evidence of a meaning for “non-partisan”) and ideological mechanisms that are present in this phenomenon. As methodological and theoretical references, this study is based on the clues paradigm, which takes the “datum” as a clue, and on Pêcheux’s Discourse Analysis, which establishes the theoretical-analytical device from the questions formulated by the analyst (researcher). From the analysis of several articles published in on-line media, we established samples, or meaning units, which allow the investigation of the meanings related to the “non-partisan school” formulation. We concluded that this DF gives away linguistic-discursive clues related to the effects of literality, slogans, and simulacrum. And also that the DF related to the “non-partisan school” enunciation naturalizes an evidence of meaning that requires an interpretation endeavor to shift a linguistic-discursive superficiality which displays its ways of attempting to consolidate an impossibility in the imaginary level.References
