The search for a geographic education that offers plural and diversified learning leads to a deeper and more sensitive connection of the subject with the world, and, in this way, narratives reveal these possibilities as it allows mobilizing art-geography relations. Assuming that the dialogue between Science and Art has been left out of the epistemological debates of Geography – a fact related to the domain of scientific hyper-specialization caused by the pragmatic-positivist method – the ways of doing and thinking Geography were often reduced and limited, for example, to strictly descriptive operations Even today, whilst there had been progressing in some areas, Geography may have narrow possibilities of reading the world. This theory and conceptual article, reinforced by exploratory research and a bibliographical review on the subject, aims to reflect the relationship between narration and geography, seeking to go beyond its use as a methodological resource but highlighting the dimension of sensitivity and eye-training. In this dialogue between ideas and thinkers, we intend to fill a gap and point to geographic approaches which help in expanding the epistemological framework permeating geographic education.
