Produtividade e impacto de pesquisadores brasileiros em Ciência da Informação: análise dos autores do ENANCIB 2013

O índice-h é a mais bem sucedida redução de medida de produtividade e impacto científico. Considerando isto, a pesquisa se propõe a explorar o índice-h dos pesquisadores brasileiros em Ciência da Informação, evidenciando características que possuam relação com o impacto de um pesquisador. Foram analisados indicadores e características de 295 autores de trabalhos no Encontro Nacional em Ciência da Informação de 2013, buscando o índice-h nas bases de dados Web of Science, Scopus e Google Scholar e levantando dados junto à base de currículos Lattes/CNPq. Os resultados mostram forte correlação do índice-h com o tempo de dedicação à pesquisa e com a obtenção de títulos acadêmicos, o que indica que o índice pode ser utilizado para avaliação de programas de pós-graduação na área. A baixa citação nas bases de dados internacionais Scopus e Web of Science revela pouco impacto internacional da CI brasileira e há pouca relação entre a incidência de bolsa de produtividade PQ e indicadores naquelas bases. A citação dos brasileiros no Google Scholar é mais expressiva e revela maior correlação entre bolsa PQ e índice h. Isso permite conjeturar diferentes composições da elite de pesquisa de Price, conforme a base de dados adotada.Downloads
