About the Journal

The Seqüência Journal - Legal and Political studies, Qualis A1 in the area of Law, edited since 1980 by the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Law of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (PPGD/UFSC), has as its central objective the academic diffusion of themes that offer an approach markedly from the bias of the critical theory of Law and/or the different dimensions of contemporary constitutionalism, with the critical analysis of its reflexes in the lines of research of the following areas of concentration of the Program: Law, State and Society; International Law and Sustainability; Theory and History of Law.

Starting in 2021, the Seqüência Journal - Legal and Political Studies will have its articles published through the continuous publication system (Aread of Print - AOP).

Recommended by SciELO as an innovative publication possibility, the system does not require waiting for the complete composition of the fascicle, promoting speed in the communication process and making research available. Each article is published at the end of the final evaluation/review process.

Publishes: unpublished articles, research reports, and reviews.

Languages: portuguese, spanish and english.
