About the Journal
The Iberoamerican Journal of Industrial Engineering (IJIE) is an open-access, non-profit scientific journal that does not charge submission, processing, or publication fees.
Its mission is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge in the fields of Industrial Engineering and related areas by publishing scientific papers that meet rigorous standards of quality and academic relevance.
Among the main objectives of the IJIE are:
-
To provide the scientific community with an electronic journal structured according to the indexing criteria adopted by internationally recognized databases, such as ISI and SciELO;
-
To expand access and encourage contributions from authors and readers in the fields of Industrial Engineering and related areas;
-
To streamline the peer-review process and increase the volume of high-quality publications;
-
To enhance the scientific visibility of research, researchers, and academic institutions;
-
To serve as an instrument for integration and cooperation among Ibero-American universities.
Submissions are accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, and English and undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Approved manuscripts are published in the original language of submission.
However, publication of the English version is strongly recommended in order to increase the international visibility of the work. Accepted articles are published on a continuous basis throughout the year, and all receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
