Percepção do Stakeholder Docente sobre si e o seu nível de conhecimento da Governança em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior Privada

Resumo

Esta pesquisa identificou a percepção dos docentes sobre serem stakeholders de uma instituição de ensino superior e seu nível de conhecimento sobre essa governança nas diferentes posições estratégicas. A escassez de estudos que identifiquem a relação envolvendo a participação docente na governança de uma instituição de ensino superior privada no contexto brasileiro faz com que esse estudo seja necessário. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa e do tipo descritivo. Foi adotada a estratégia de estudo de caso único e realizada pesquisa de campo com a aplicação de entrevistas semiestruturadas, sendo oito sujeitos, docentes, sendo alguns na alta gestão. Os resultados mostraram que a IES estudada não possui um sistema de governança sistematizado, mas possui predisposição em termos de estrutura e práticas para o seu desenvolvimento e atuação do stakeholder docente nela. Além disso, foi constatado também os papéis do docente na governança da instituição privada enfatizados pelos sujeitos entrevistados.
