This study discusses the daily translated into bodily practices in the school environment, favored by children 7-13 years old living in a suburb of the island of São Luis. Therefore, we conducted a qualitative research, ethnographic inspiration, with reference authors of Sociologies Childhood and Everyday Life, in which we analyzed three episodes recorded in a field diary. These episodes emerged matrices of meaning / significance that made possible the interpretation of daily life of the children, namely: the "musicality", the "gestures and inscriptions on the body" and "violence" as a guide. Identified through research that the fine line between playful and violence in the context of interaction between children, seems to forge new perspectives on childhood, in which the symbolic dome around it is relativized into a large "fight ring" of social disputes.
