Abstract

This article aims to define whether the conflict that develops in the Labor Courts in La Plata city in its first years (1948-1955) was individual or collective. The working hypothesis arises from a perspective that focuses its development in the application of the concept of historical agency as central to elucidate the collective characteristics in individual disputes. In order to support this hypothesis it will be presented the limits to the individualization from Labor Law doctrine itself, as well as the limit imposed by the practices of the actors themselves who came to labor
justice in pursuit of their rights. This research also allows reconstructing new roles for institutions such as trade unions and their role in everyday conflicts.
