This article explores the question of: does the knowledge
of the world (physical and social) makes the coexistence peacefully or not among men. The text is divided into three parts considering the significant moments of the history of the western thought. The first part focuses on Plato's and Aristotle's conceptions and also on the main aspects of Perelman's theory of argumentation. The second part presents and criticizes Nietzsche's sceptical thoughLusing Perelman's approach as theoretical back ground. The third part discusses the Greek's vision of pertection and analyzes the ethical and ed ucational implications of the myth of the "pertect health", proclaimed by the French sociologist Lucien Sfez, as the great utopia of next century.
