Abstract

This paper proposes to analyse lexical marks which grant cohesion to the phrases of the story Le Horla, by Guy de Maupassant, and to observe how this cohesion was felt in the translation O Horla, in order to verify the reception and of the reproduction textual competence, always at stake in the translation process.

Claudia Maria Xatara, Universidade Estadual Paulista/ São José do Rio Preto

Possui graduação em Bacharelado em Letras Com Habilitação de Tradutor pela UNESP-SJRP (1983), mestrado (1994) e doutorado (1998) em Linguística e Língua Portuguesa pela UNESP-Araraquara e pós-doutorado pela Université de Nancy 2-França (2005). Atualmente é assistente-doutor da UNESP-SJRP e tradutora juramentada de francês. Tem experiência na área de Lingüística, com ênfase em Lexicografia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: expressão idiomática, fraseologia da língua comum, tradução e dicionários especiais.
