Governança corporativa e orientação empreendedora em empresas brasileiras: validação de uma escala de medição

O artigo tem por objetivo demonstrar a aplicação da análise fatorial exploratória e confirmatória na validação de escala para medição de Governança Corporativa Empreendedora (GCE), em empresas brasileiras de capital fechado, a partir de itens das dimensões dos construtos de Governança Corporativa (GC) e Orientação Empreendedora (OE). Os dados foram coletados via questionário junto a 828 dirigentes de empresas, sendo utilizadas 300 respostas para a análise fatorial exploratória e 528 para a análise fatorial confirmatória. Ao final dos testes estatísticos, ocorreu o agrupamento dos 21 itens da escala em três dimensões (transparência/prestação de contas, responsabilidade corporativa e equidade), diferente das quatro dimensões apresentadas pela literatura. A GCE, então, representa um novo prisma por ter incorporado as dimensões de OE nas de GC, a fim de que a governança das organizações esteja mais voltada para a inovação, propensão ao risco, proatividade, agressividade competitiva e autonomia.
