Abstract

This paper identifies the set of journals cited in PhD theses about Management at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul completed from 1997 until 2007, and distinguish the journals in which the authors of these theses published his scientific and technical papers one year after obtaining the doctoral degree up to 2010. The authors used a set of 1,131 titles in their theses and published their articles in another set of 187 journals. The two sets had in common only 31 journals, or about 2% of the titles.
