Reflections about the City, its Equipments and the Influence of these in the Population’s Quality of Life

Abstract

The present paper intends to contextualize a current situation in the Brazilian cities, analyzing factors that strongly contributed to the diminishing of the quality of life in these areas, factors that elapse from a serious problem: the growing exodus from the country. In another moment, it is told about the implementation of urban equipments and its adaptation to an urban administration with quality, understanding urban equipments as all public or private properties, of public use, assigned to rendering the necessary services to the functioning of the city, implemented through the public service authorization, in public and private spaces.
