Abstract

The present work discusses the environmental sustainability, where the development and environment concepts acquire new perspectives, opening recent horizons of application. The results proved that the environmental sustainability presupposes the continuity of the life that depends on the load capacity of  the natural resources and that the base of those resources should be used in a responsible way, so that the productivity can be kept over time. As a conclusive stage, alternatives were proposed, through basic actions for the increment of the environmental sustainability, in the sense of protecting the structure, functions and the biodiversity of the resources.
