Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide a brief presentation of the philosophy of Esposito on biopolitics in light of his considerations on the relevance of hermeneutics "paradigm of immunization", for their understanding and their implications in the medicalization of life. We end by presenting a summary of how the Italian philosopher believes it is possible to conceive biopolitics in another semantic structure, which has life not as an object of politics but as realization of the innovative power of life.
