Abstract

The text presents part of the philosophical studies that have
developed in a research that views the contribution to a theory of the educational work. We defend the need to articulate the ontology and the epistemology, when we have, as objective, the development of a historical-social approach of the knowledge process and the educational work. A criticism is presented to the epistemological model known as "interactionism" (Piaget), which would be characterised by a biologization of the gnoziological subjects. ln the search of a historical-social approach of the knowledge process, dialectics is analysed among the historical-sociai process of production of the material and non-material culture and the process that establishes that culture is appropriated by the individuais. It is
postulated that these dialectics constitutes the ontological fundamentais of the gnosiological and educational processo It is still analysed a definition of compatible educational work related to those philosophical principies.

Newton Duarte, Universidade do Estado de São Paulo, Araraquara

Graduou-se em Pedagogia pela UFSCAR em 1985, mestre em Educação pela mesma em 1987. doutorado na UNICAMP em 1992. Docente na UNESP em psicologia da educação. Pós-doutorado na U.T, Canadá, com bolsa da CAPES.
