Estudos da Tradução, tradução audiovisual e recepção

Resumo

A recepção de textos traduzidos até agora não recebeu a devida atenção nos Estudos da Tradução, ainda que teorias dos estudos de recepção tenham sido aplicados nas últimas décadas, primeiro na tradução literária e depois em outras áreas e tipos textuais. O presente artigo explora o desenvolvimento dos estudos de recepção nos Estudos da Tradução, com foco em algumas das teorias e metodologias mais significativas. Após isso, o foco volta-se para a tradução audiovisual, momento em que são explorados os conceitos de audiência e recepção. Discute-se, também, outros conceitos adjacentes que influenciam a abordagem e a metodologia da investigação sobre recepção. Por fim, o artigo aborda as oportunidades e os desafios da interdisciplinaridade, que trouxe, está trazendo e pode continuar a trazer avanços para o estudo da recepção da tradução de textos audiovisuais.
